Based on personal experiences posted by dozens of PayPal Philippines users, this post summarizes the different ways of withdrawing Paypal in the Philippines.

Possible Methods of Withdrawing PayPal in the Philippines
Each method is explained in detail below.

UnionBank EON or eWallet Debit card – POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by various people, including several PinoyMoneyTalk Forum members.

Citibank Visa Credit Card – POSSIBLE
According to snow.gameshogun.ws, payments are considered “Cash Advance” which incurs additional fees and monthly interest charges. Alternatively, an “Over-payment Cheque,” which has no fees and interest charges, can be requested from any Citibank branch.

Citibank Mastercard Credit Card – POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by Jeffrey.

HSBC Visa Credit Card – POSSIBLE
noelb explained that funds are treated as payment to the credit card balance. If there is no card balance, it will be treated as an overpayment. Money can be withdrawn by applying for a Cash Advance.
Jericho shared that his first PayPal-to-HSBC Visa Card transaction took 2 days to complete, but his second transfer was processed after only 1 day.

Standard Chartered Visa Credit Card – POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by nailbiter.

Metrobank Visa Credit Card – POSSIBLE
According to snow.gameshogun.ws funds appear as a Cash Advance or Payment to a credit card balance.

Equitable PCI (EPCI) Bank Visa Electron Debit Card – POSSIBLE
This is confirmed in a post on the eBay.ph Forum, although nodules reported that her EPCI card does not have a CVV Number. Biske suggested that the CVV be requested directly from EPCI.

Xoom.com – POSSIBLE
2slick shared that he was able to send money to himself via Xoom and the funds were credited to his UnionBank account a day later. He stressed, though, that his PayPal account is a Verified Premier Account.
Be warned that PayPal sometimes put a limit on accounts that use the Xoom withdrawal method.
Latest Update: according to Jericho, Xoom has now prohibited intra-Philippines transfers “until further notice.” The buzz is that PayPal does not want a non-affiliated middle-man such as Xoom to be part of the withdrawal process.

Chikka.com – POSSIBLE
According to writeservices: “Sa chikka, within minutes andyan na pera mo. Mahal nga lang in the long run kasi $7 per Php 5,000 ang kaltas (Using Chikka, your money is available in just a few minutes. However, it gets expensive in the long run because the fee is $7 for every P5,000).”

Scriptlance.com – POSSIBLE
The process may seem complicated at first glance because PayPal is initially withdrawn as e-gold then converted into cash.
2slick explains how the process goes: a deposit must first be made to a Scriptlance account and the balance is withdrawn as e-gold. Received e-gold funds are then converted to cash through e-currency exchangers such as PinoyGoldeXchange.net. Expected total lead time for this process is 4 days.
Biske added that a Scriptlance Payment Verification document needs to be sent for the first deposit over $50. She warns that Scriptlance might find it suspicious if a member frequently deposits PayPal then withdraw it using e-gold or Moneybookers.

Bank ATMs and Debit cards without a Visa or Mastercard logo (e.g., BPI ExpressCash, BDO CashCard, Citibank CitiCard) – Almost Always NOT POSSIBLE
If your card does not have a Visa or Mastercard logo, it probably does not support PayPal withdrawals. To confirm, try it in PayPal. Let us know if it works.

BDO Debit card with Mastercard Electron logo – NOT POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by baka.

BDO Mastercard Credit Card – NOT POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by jtag.

ChinaTrust Visa Credit Card – NOT POSSIBLE
This is confirmed by jtag.

Globe G-Cash – NOT POSSIBLE
G-Cash cannot be used in PayPal because it is neither linked to any bank account nor affiliated with Visa or Mastercard. The absence of a physical card also makes it impossible to get a Card Number and CVV Number, things necessary to successfully attach a card in PayPal.

The process for clearing your cookies varies depending on which Web browser you are using, so each step of this guide will focus on a different Web browser.

FIREFOX FOR WINDOWS
Go to "Tools" on the menu at the top of the screen. From that menu, go to "Options". Click on "Privacy" and then click the "Show All Cookies" button. Click the "Remove All Cookies" button.

FIREFOX FOR MAC
Go to "Firefox" on the menu at the top of the screen. From that menu, go to "Preferences". Click on "Privacy" and then click the "Show All Cookies" button. Click the "Remove All Cookies" button.

INTERNET EXPLORER FOR WINDOWS
Go to "Tools" on the menu at the top of the screen. If you are using version Internet Explorer 7, click the tab entitled "General". This step is not necessary in older versions of Internet Explorer. ATMs (automatic teller machines) give you 24-hour access to your various banking accounts. Aside from using the ATM for withdrawing money, you can also use it for making a deposit. Here's how to do it:

1. Check with the bank regarding deposit slip requirements for ATMs.

2. Fill out your deposit slip. Put your money and deposit slip in the special ATM deposit envelopes provided by the bank. You can find these envelopes in holders beside the ATM, or you can go inside the bank during business hours to pick some up. Keep some on hand at home in case you ever want to deposit after business hours. Some holders do run out.

3. Seal the envelope. Write the amount you are depositing, your name and account number on the front.

4. Insert your EON card into the ATM and enter your PIN. Select "Deposit" and choose savings account. Punch in the amount you are depositing and the numbers written in your deposit envelope, and then press "Enter."

5. Slide your envelope in the special deposit slot that automatically will open. Don't fold your envelope. The bank knows that the envelope belongs to you and your account because you put in your ATM card and PIN. The ATM prints a special code on the envelope that associates it with your account.

6. Finish your session by telling the machine if you want another transaction. Wait for your ATM card and receipt.

I have searched and read other ways to withdraw funds from AlertPay, but I will concentrate on the 2 tested ways on how to get your money:

MAILED CHECKS

As of writing, I’m not really sure how they mail the checks, whether by international couriers or just the ordinary mail. We all know how the mailing system in our country works (with all the anomalies done by some employees, especially if they knew the mail was sent from a foreign country and probably have a check enclosed). So it is really up to you if you want to choose this option.

1. Login to your AlertPay account.

2. Request for a withdrawal via mailed check.

3. Checks are sent to you via regular mail and are issued in US Dollars. They send out the checks within 1-2 business days after your request. Outside of Canada/US, it can take up to 3-4 weeks for you to receive your checks in the mail.

4. Encash checks on money changers accepting international checks in Dollars or deposit your check at your own bank account.

5. Wait for the processing time of your check, approximately 3-4 weeks.

ALERTPAY TO PAYPAL

AlertPay and Paypal are two competing companies, therefore, there is NO way to transfer one’s fund to another. However, there is a way to convert your AlertPay fund into PayPal fund.

1. Cashout your earnings at your PTC programs via AlertPay.

1. You become verified by completing the verification requirements. You must submit a scanned copy of 1 proof of address and 1 photo identification (I.D. card). Please ensure that all four edges of the documents are visible.

Photo identification can be one of the following:
(Submit the back portion of the identification if the expiration date is located at the back.)

Driver's license
Passport
State ID, Country ID or Photo Medical ID

Proof of address must show your name and address and be dated within the last 6 months. You can submit one of the following:

Utility Bill
Phone bill
Credit card statement
Bank Statement

2. Log into your AlertPay account.

3. Click on the "Become Verified" link.

4. Select Upload Verification Documents by clicking on the "Upload Now" button.

5. Select a document type and then click "Next" button.

6. Select a form type and then "Browse" the location of your scanned document. Click the "Next" button.

7. Preview your uploaded document and then click the "Finish" button.

8. Repeat steps 3-7 for the next document.

For uploaded documents, processing takes up to 10 days upon receipt of the documents. Your documents will be reviewed and the information contained in your documents must match the information on your AlertPay profile in order for them to be approved. You can view the status of your documents once you login into your account.

3. Start creating your AlertPay account by choosing your country and type of AlertPay account.

For the purpose of illustration, I will choose a Personal Starter account.

PERSONAL Starter: It is the perfect account to send and receive money from friends, family and occasionally payments. Personal Starter accounts do not have selling tools, but do have easy funding and withdrawal methods. You can have a maximum of 2 emails associated with your account. It has a monthly receiving limit of $400 USD and a cumulative yearly receiving limit of $2000 USD after which your account will automatically upgrade itself to a Personal Pro account.

PERSONAL PRO Account: There are no receiving limits. You will have access to features like: Mass Pay (send out payments to groups of people), Integration tools and website payment methods (Buy Now Buttons, Subscriptions and Recurring Payments Instant Payment Notification). Receiving fees is 2.5% + $0.25 per transaction. If you are an active seller or you an avid online shopper, choose the AlertPay Personal Pro account today!

BUSINESS Account: It is tailored to meet all the needs of your online business. If you are managing a business under your business name, this is the account for you. You will have access to numerous online business tools to help your business grow online and you will have unlimited emails associated with your account. This account has low transaction fees of 2.5% + 0.25 per transaction (additional fees may be applied for specific industries).

4. From there, you will go to a page that asks for your basic personal information -- your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You will also be required to enter security questions in case you lose your password, and you have to enter a randomly generated series of letters and numbers, which help prevent fraud. Once you confirm your account, a sign-up confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail.

5. Open your e-mail and your will see confirmation e-mail from AlertPay. Click on the link to confirm your e-mail address.

6. Congratulations! You have confirmed your AlertPay account. Login and you will be directed to your AlertPay account page. You will be asked for a secondary password, this is for your transactions.

7. Familiarize yourself with your new AlertPay account interface. Then verify your account.

Account verification identifies who you are as a KYC (Know your customer) policy. It is important for the AlertPay network that members identify themselves by submitting documentation to protect their members against fraud. At any time, AlertPay can ask you to become verified.

Verification of an AlertPay account is not necessary in order to, add or transfer funds. The verification increases the security of AlertPay’s network to be able to verify and authenticate users. Although not necessary, verification is highly recommended. 1. Once the payment has reflected in your Paypal balance, you can transfer the funds to your UnionBank Debit card by using the withdrawal feature. Please take note, there is a minimum withdrawal limit depending on the currency which you want to withdraw. For US Dollars it is $10.00.

2. You will be given 2 options in withdrawing your funds. Please choose the "transfer funds to your card" option. Paypal charges $5.00 USD for this facility. Then confirm the transfer.

3. The transfer to your UnionBank Debit card will be completed within 4 working days from the date of your withdrawal request. A status report of your withdrawal request is reflected in your Account Overview screen.

4. Your funds will be converted to the peso equivalent using the VISA Exchange rate for the day of the withdrawal request.

How to Withdraw Payment from PayPal Balance to Your UnionBank Account?

1. Log into your PayPal account. Click "My account" tab and then "Withdraw" sub tab

2. Select the "Withdraw funds to your bank account option" (See fees below)

3. Select the bank account and amount to withdraw

4. Confirm the transfer

Please note the terms and conditions of Paypal concerning the frequency of payment acceptance. Personal Accounts can only accept payments monthly and up to 5 credit or debit card payments annually with your Personal account. Premier Accounts allow you to accept credit or debit card payments for only 3.4% plus $0.30 USD per transaction.
FULL USE: Limits shall be based on the available balance for debit cards and the available credit limits for credit cards or other limits imposed by PayPal or the bank.
For regular enrollment, you have a limit of $100.00 for every transaction. With the expanded use number, you will have a $500.00 limit for every transaction with UnionBank's VISA Cards!

For the purpose of illustration, I will choose a Personal account.

PERSONAL accounts give you access to the core features, but that's all. Customer support is mostly via e-mail. There is a phone number available, but it is not toll-free and it sends users to a low-priority line with long wait times. There are no transaction fees for personal accounts, though there are fees for some other features, such as currency exchange. Personal accounts are also subject to volume limits of $500 per month. If you receive more than that, you will need to upgrade to a Premier or Business account (or deny the transfer that would have put you over the limit).

PREMIER and BUSINESS accounts are almost the same. The main difference is that a Business account must be registered with a business or group name, while a Premier account can be registered with a business, group or individual. Business accounts can also be set up for multiple users.

Business and Premier accounts allow access to all of the core features, plus the ability to accept unlimited credit card payments, payment receiving preferences, subscriptions, ATM/Debit Card and mass payments.

Business and Premier Accounts also get a toll-free customer service number and extended customer service hours. These extra features come at the cost of transaction fees. Sending money is still free, but 2.9 percent is charged for funds received. Extremely high-volume accounts get a break -- after $3,000 has been received in a month, the percentage drops to 2.5 percent. Above $10,000, it goes to 2.2 percent, and money in excess of $100,000 received in a single month is only charged at 1.9 percent. In addition, all transactions in which money is received, regardless of volume, have a $0.30 fee added.

4. From there, you will go to a page that asks for your basic personal information -- your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You will also be required to enter security questions in case you lose your password, and you have to enter a randomly generated series of letters and numbers, which help prevent fraud. Once you confirm your account, a sign-up confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail.

You can also use your credit card for PayPal's Expanded Use service, which allows you to draw money from the credit card, instead of just from a bank account.

You can still go ahead and use all of the features in PayPal while you are undergoing the verification process. However, when various transactions involve substantial amounts, PayPal’s security center may ask members to become verified first before proceeding with their transactions.

It serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as cheques and money orders. PayPal performs payment processing for online vendors, auction sites, and other corporate users, for which it charges a fee. It also charges a transaction fee for receiving money (a percentage of the amount sent plus an additional fixed amount). The fees charged depend on the currency used, the payment option used, the country of the sender, the country of the recipient, the amount sent and the recipient's account type.

There are many sites you can choose from when creating a website.

For beginners, you can create a free website or blog at blogger.com, wordpress.com, weebly.com, squiddo.com, liveJournal.com or int.blog.com.
For advanced users, you may opt to buy a domain name and create an account at wordpress.org and host it at hostmonster.com, bluehost.com, ixwebhosting.com or lunarpages.com.
FREE web hosting is available at 000webhost.com.

Post your referral links in your website or blog, give a description of each site and then advertise it anywhere you can to attract visitors.

ONLINE FORUMS

If you're a member of an online forum, you can do a lot of ways to help advertise your ref links:

Place referral links in your signature (depending on forum rules)
Create a post containing your referral links (depending on forum rules)
Link the www under your avatar to your website or blog

RECOMMEND TO PEOPLE YOU ACTUALLY KNOW

This might not be the best idea or appropriate in some situations. If you know some people out there who might like the idea of PTC then tell them about it and give them your website or blog address.

Send an e-mail to everyone you know who might like the idea of PTC. Just make sure not to go spamming people and you must use the appropriate etiquette.

Things like creating flyers and popping them in mailboxes, create flyers and whacking them on public notice boards, advertising in newspapers, etc. Anyway you can advertise in the real world can help but again make sure it’s appropriate and you obey any laws in your area.

How to Avoid Getting Scammed?

Here are a few simple things to prevent getting scammed:

Do a whois search
You can go to www.whois.net and type in the domain name. If the server is located in some exotic place, it's a sign. If the name of the owner is hidden it could also be a sign but not necessarily.

Do a Google search.
Search for the name of the site + the word scam. If you get many hits, it should ring a bell, also read the post about it on a few forums.

Don't Join Non-Customized Sites
When finding a new site, look at the layout. If the layout is visually bad, they probably didn't put much time into it. Also if they are running the same old "bux" layout with a new banner, keep away. You want to find a site that is custom and in it for the long haul. If they were in it for the long haul they would make their site unique.

Don't Join Sites of Past Scammers
Don’t join if the site owner is known to have scammed in the past. If they have scammed once, they will scam again!

Check the Terms of Service
Always check their advertising rates if they payout more than they ask for an ad, something is fishy. Such a model is economically unsustainable. Note that some sites are cleverer and have build in protection to prevent legal issues. For example some put in their terms payout after 100 years or put 100 USD where USD doesn't stand for US dollars but for something else or they put a $ sign but it's not US dollars but some high inflated currency or a virtual currency with next to no value.

Don't Join Sites Without Support/Forums
If the site doesn't have a good support system or forums where an admin is inactive, don't use it. This is the key way users and admin speak to each other and if it doesn't exist, they don't care. You should be able to get in contact with the owner within 48 hours at any time.

Don't Purchase Anything
If you find a new site that seems to look okay and your considering purchasing something, don't. Don’t join if the site is brand new with no payment proofs. Even if you hear people sing praises about getting payments, don't. Most scam sites pay out tons and tons quickly right away, and then it just stops. Let the site be online for at least 1- 2 months before purchasing to be safe.

This is an earning example for a Standard Member of 10 PTC sites with an average earnings for $0.01 per ad click:

You visited 10 PTC sites and viewed 10 ads per day = $1.00
Your weekly earnings = $7.00
Your monthly earnings = $30.00

How about an earning example for a Standard Member of 50 PTC sites with an average earnings for $0.01 per ad click:

You visited 50 PTC sites and viewed 10 ads per day = $5.00
Your weekly earnings = $20.00
Your monthly earnings = $150.00

This method can be very time consuming because you need to view each ad for an average of 10 - 30 seconds. Let's assume you'll be viewing each ad for 30 seconds and you have to click 10 ads per PTC site (30 seconds x 10 ads = 300 seconds or 5 minutes/PTC site). But remember, you have to view 10 ads each for the 50 PTC sites you have joined. So you have to view 5 minutes x 50 PTC sites = 250 minutes or 4.17 hours per day! Don't worry, there are ways on how you can speed up the process like using FireFox, have a fast computer and a fast internet connection. All you have to do is open 10 PTC sites (at the same time), then view 1 ad each. But you can open more PTC sites at a time depending on the capability of your computer and internet speed. For 5 minutes you have accomplished viewing 10 ads each on 10 PTC sites. If your work time is 5 minutes per 10 PTC sites, then your daily work time to finish viewing all ads in 50 PTC’s has been lowered down to only 25 minutes a day. Therefore, registering to at least 50 PTC sites and working for at least 25 minutes a day will earn you $150.00 a month without any referrals.

WHAT IF YOU REFER AT LEAST ONE AND SHARE THIS METHOD? HOW ABOUT TEN REFERRALS?

Your monthly income per month without referrals = $150.00
Your monthly income per month with 1 referral = $300.00
Your monthly income per month with 10 referrals = $1,650.00

What if you have a lot of referrals? You do the math. Just imagine how much you could earn monthly!

The secret is to be a member of 10 or more PTC sites, be active and be patient in clicking/surfing the ads on the site at least an hour of your day. It will take at least a month for you to earn your first online payment. Always remember, there is no such thing as easy money. You have to work for it. You can also do referrals and upgrade membership if you really want to earn more.

Keep clicking! After your downline gets big enough, you may feel you don't need to click anymore as your downline is doing all the work! But remember, you have an upline that is counting on your clicking every day and you should do you fair share of clicking. Don't get lazy! Every click counts.

Important Reminder: Be active in PTC Programs because most of the PTC sites now have the function of deleting inactive members. There are PTC sites that also require you to click a certain number of ads before you get paid.

Be sure to have your own e-mail account that you can use for your online business. Even if you have an e-mail address that you use to communicate with friends and family, it is better to have a separate one that you can use just for business purposes.

Register to a FREE account at the Paid-To-Click sites I have listed
here. List down all the PTC sites you have joined. Make sure to have a different password for each PTC site.

Login to your PTC programs and start earning by clicking on the ads and viewing it for at least 30 seconds (wait for the DONE, OK, checkmark or dollar sign to be sure you got paid for your click).

Make the clicking and viewing of ads a daily habit (all it takes is 1-2 hours a day depending on how many PTC’s you have joined).
